Asa Asika

Asa Asika (born 14 August 1990) is a Nigerian talent manager and entrepreneur. He is the co-founder of The Plug. He is best known as Davido's manager.

Early Life

Asa Asika was born in Lagos, a state in Nigeria. He is the oldest of three siblings and lost his mom at seven. For his secondary education, Asa Asika attended Whitesands School in Lagos.

Career

Asa Asika began his career at 16, working at Storm 360 Records until 2012. Where he worked with rappers Ikechukwu, ELDee, Sasha P, and Naeto C. In 2010, Asa Asika became the manager of Davido but parted ways in 2012.

In 2013, he founded StarGaze Management Company, a brand management company. He signed Naeto C, Boj, a member of the musical group DRB Lasgidi, and Ayo Jay, to StarGaze Management Company in 2014.

Asa Asika and Bizzle Osikoya founded The Plug, a management company, in 2016. In 2017, he became Davido's manager again under The Plug.

Personal Life

Asa Asika is the nephew of Obi Asika and a cousin to Naeto C. In January 2018, his relationship with Cuppy became public, but they split in 2020.
