Lojay
Lekan Osifeso Jr (born 28 April 1996), known professionally as Lojay, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and music producer.
Early Life
Lojay was raised in Ikorodu before moving to Victoria Island with his family. For his secondary education, he attended Nigerian Turkish International College in Nigeria, where he was in a local rap group called Dkoy. He graduated from the University of Portsmouth, UK, in 2018.
Career
In December 2017, Lojay released his debut EP, "Midnight Vibes", which consisted of five songs. He released a single called "Ariel" in 2019, followed by another single titled "Ogogoro" in 2020.
In May 2021, Lojay released a collaborative EP, "LV N ATTN", with Nigerian music producer Sarz. It contained his breakout single "Tonongo". Other songs on the EP include the hit "Monalisa", which was re-released in May 2022 as a remix featuring Chris Brown, and "LV N ATTN" featuring Wizkid.
In 2022, Lojay was nominated for The Headies Award for Next Rated.
