Mr. P

Peter Okoye (18 November 1981), known professionally as Mr. P, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is popularly known as a member of the musical duo P-Square, with his identical twin brother Paul Okoye.

Early Life

Peter was born and raised in Jos but is originally from Ifite Dunu in Anambra State. He was born into the family of Mazi Moses and Josephine Okoye, along with his twin brother Paul. He has five other siblings Jude, Mary, Tony, Lilian, and Ifeanyi. 

Mr. P attended St. Murumba Secondary School in Jos for his secondary education with his brother Rudeboy.

Career

In November 2017, after the disbandment of P-Square, Mr. P released "For My Head" and "Cool It Down," his first single as a solo artist.

In 2021, he established his record label PClassic Label.

Personal Life

In 2013, Mr. P and his partner, Lola Omotayo gave birth to their daughter Aliona in the United States. On 17 November 2013, they got married.
