Taaooma

Maryam Apaokagi (born 28 February 1999), known professionally as Taaooma, is a Nigerian comedy video creator and filmmaker. She rose to prominence for her short comedy videos where she plays multiple roles.

Early Life

Taaooma was born in Nigeria but spent most of her early years in Namibia. She studied Tourism and Travel Service Management at Kwara State University.

Career

In 2015, Taaooma started online comedy after convincing her fiancé to teach her the basics of video editing.

Taaooma was nominated for Best Comedy Act at the 2020 City People Music Awards.

In 2021, she was nominated for a Net Honours Award for Most Popular Comedian.

Personal Life

In October 2020, Taaooma got engaged to Abdulaziz Oladimeji in Namibia.
