Wode Maya

Kobina Ackon (born 8 November 1990), known popularly as Wode Maya, is a Ghanaian YouTuber and vlogger.

Early Life

Wode Maya hails from Ahekofi in Kofikrom, the Western region of Ghana.

In 2017, he graduated from Shenyang Aerospace University with a degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. Wode Maya also attended the Beijing Language and Culture University(BLCU).

Career

'Wode Maya' means 'My Mother' in Chinese. In 2017, he took a video on a bus where seats were empty beside him, and other passengers stood due to the colour of his skin, and the video went viral. Wode Maya was still a student when he started vlogging in China about his experiences and later quit his job as an Aeronautical engineer.

Wode Maya is married to Kenyan YouTuber Miss Trudy.
