Aisha Somtochukwu Yesufu (born 12 December 1973) is a Nigerian activist and entrepreneur. She co-founded the #BringBackOurGirls movement.
Aisha Yesufu was born and raised in Kano State but is from Agbede in Edo State. In 1991, she applied to the Nigerian Defence Academy but was rejected because of her gender. She completed her tertiary education at Bayero University, Kano with a degree in Microbiology.
In 2014, Aisha Yesufu and Oby Ezekwesili co-founded the #BringBackOurGirls movement, to push for the rescue of the 276 schoolgirls abducted by the terrorist group Boko Haram.
She was among the women protestors who marched on the Nigerian National Assembly, Abuja, on 30 April 2014.
In 1998, Aisha Yesufu married her spouse, Aliu. Together they have two children.
