Asake

Ahmed Ololade (born 13 January 1995), known professionally as Asake, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.

Early Life

Asake was born and raised in Lagos, a southwestern state in Nigeria. He studied Dramatic Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University located at Ile-Ife, a city in Osun State, Nigeria.

Career

Asake began his music career in 2018 but gained recognition in 2022.

In February 2022, Asake was signed to Olamide's record label YBNL Records. He released his debut EP "Ololade" on 16 February 2022. He got his big break with the success of his song "Omo Ope" off the EP.

In July 2022, Asake signed a distribution deal with Empire.

On 8 September 2022, he released his debut album "Mr. Money With The Vibe".
