Halle Bailey
Halle Lynn Bailey (born 27 March 2000), also known simply as Halle, is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. She is best known for being part of the musical duo Chloe x Halle with her sister, Chloe Bailey.
Early Life
Halle Bailey grew up in Mableton, Georgia, with her sisters Ski and Chloe and brother Branson. Later, they moved together to Los Angeles in 2012.
Career
Halle Bailey began singing and acting at a young age. In 2015, she and her sister signed to Beyoncé's Parkwood Entertainment. They have released two albums together and earned five Grammy Award nominations.
In 2018, Halle Bailey began acting as Skylar "Sky" Forster in Grown-ish. She left the show at the end of the fourth season after her character graduated from college.
In July 2019, Disney announced that Halle Bailey had been cast as Ariel in the live-action remake of the 1989 animated film The Little Mermaid.
Her first solo single "Angel" was released on 4 August 2023.The song was nominated at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards for Best R&B Song.
Personal Life
Halle Bailey began dating DDG, an American YouTuber and rapper, in December 2021. On 22 December 2023, Bailey gave birth to their son, Halo. On 3 October 2024, DDG announced their split.
