Sophie Alakija appeared in the music video for Wizkid's "Holla At Your Boy" as the lead character in 2010. In 2017, she appeared in the television show Scandals. In 2019, she starred in the television show Halita and then in the television show Assistant Madams.

In 2020, Sophie Alakija also starred in Timini Egbuson's Muslim Wife. She appeared in the 2021 Nigerian comedy supernatural thriller film My Village People.
