Bnxn

Daniel Etiese Benson (born 14 May 1997), known professionally as Bnxn (pronounced as Benson) and formerly known as Buju, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer.

Early Life

Benson was born and raised in Lagos State but is originally from Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. He grew up in Gbagada and later moved to Ogun State with his family at 16.

Career

In 2020, BNXN was signed to Burna Boy’s Spaceship Records. He exited the record label in 2021.

BNXN released his debut EP Sorry I’m Late on 20 October 2021. He began his Sorry I'm Late tour with a performance in London on 30 November 2021.

On 22 December 2021, he headlined his debut concert held in Lagos, Nigeria.

In 2022, he officially changed his name from Buju to Bnxn. On 4 September 2022, he won The Headies 2022 Next Rated award
