Ifeanyi Chinemerem Akandu (born 23 May 1998), known professionally as Dai Verse, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter. He is best known for his song, "Your Body (Cocaine)", released in 2021.

Early Life

Dai Verse was born and raised in Surulere, a residential area in Lagos State, Nigeria. He is a native of Nwangele, a local government area in Imo State. Dai Verse has two siblings — an older sister and a younger brother. He has a degree from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, in Imo State.

Career

Dai Verse released his debut single, "Love", on SoundCloud. He first gained popularity in 2021 following the release of his single "Your Body (Cocaine)" on 24 January 2021. Turntable named the song 2021's "Top Song by an Emerging Artist". That year, Native Mag named him among its "Best New Artists" (2021).

In May 2021, Dai Verse released the song "Sweet Daddy", which was re-released in February 2022 as a remix featuring Bnxn.

In March 2024, he released the song "Salt".
