Izzy Odigie

Iziegbe Odigie (born 20 October 1995) is a New York-born Nigerian choreographer. She is known for being a dance instructor who focuses on Afrobeats and hip hop.

Early Life

Izzy Odigie was born in Brooklyn to Nigerian parents and was raised in Edo State in Nigeria. In 2007, she moved to the United States and studied dance and attended St. John’s University in Queens, New York.

Career

In October 2013, Izzy Odigie first began posting dancing content to her Instagram. She teaches dance and tours.

In 2019, she was chosen to be on the OkayAfrica 100 women list. She choreographed and appeared in one episode of the fifth series of Empire in 2020.

Izzy Odigie has worked with artists like Rema, Tiwa Savage, Mr Eazi, Asake and Yemi Alade.
